Dear Chemistry Parents,
We look forward to a wonderful and exciting year full of labs that will enthuse our students and facilitate learning. In our classes, we will be doing quite a few labs on a micro scale, but a few labs are not and are a bit more costly. We would still like to include these labs with your help. A few labs we like to do are the isotopes lab where we use candy representing atoms, the half-life of licorice discovering radioactive half-lives, the holiday card lab where we uncover the ideas of solubility using food coloring, shaving cream and card stock, the limiting reactant S’mores lab, and finally one of our last labs of the year where we bring Sub Zero Ice Cream to our classrooms to show us some amazing properties of liquid nitrogen, including creating ice creamwith it. We are asking for voluntary donations to make these labs possible. Please fill out the form if you are able to donate to our Chemistry Labs. Thank you in advance!
