Principal's Report-

The 6th grade field trip was a success. The kids enjoyed the coach bus and would like to see the time extended in the future. They felt like the time was too short to be able to see everything that is offered.

Mrs. Baker has some updated pictures of the school construction. Construction should finish around July 12th and teachers will be permitted to move in the first week of August if everything remains on schedule.

Mrs. Baker will send out questionnaires to teachers asking if there is anything that the other schools do that they would like to continue at Conestoga. Hospitality committee is providing lunch to teachers at the all school event on June 1st for teacher appreciation.

Miscellaneous:

PTO will provide a $200 check to both Pequea and Martic PTO to help with the additional expenses of including our students in their events.

THANK YOU to all the Volunteers who helped to make this an enjoyable year for all of the teachers and students.

This was the last meeting of the school year. We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer. We are excited to return home to our brand new school in the fall!

Meeting adjourned at 7:55 pm.

Minutes respectfully submitted by Dee Greenawalt, Secretary, Conestoga PTO.

***Addendum: Correction: 5/12/17- There is an error in the amount of money that is listed as the budgeted amount for the 6th grade graduation. It was reported by a committee representative at the meeting that the committee will stay within the budgeted amount of $400-$450. The PTO budget is $400. The Executive Board will not contribute any amount exceeding $400.
