No names or other personally identifying information will be used in the speech without the written permission of the interviewees.

The respondents will not remain anonymous; their opinions will be used to bolster the rhetoric used in the final project.

3. The state has set an ambitious goal of 33% of all energy in California being produced by renewable energy in 2020. In your opinion is this goal is attainable? Follow up, if this is not attainable, what do you see as the reason for not getting there?

4. Hydraulic fracturing is currently not heavily regulated in California; what steps, in your opinion, if any, should state regulators taketo make the practice safe in regards to air and water quality as well as seismic activity?

5. California’s renewable energy sector has no central point of regulation; in your opinion is this good for the state? Do you recommend any change to this and why?

6. In your opinion, should California follow the President’s approach to energy production with an all of the above approach and why?
