Columbia College is pleased to authorizeTBC ROW agent to act as a representative of the College in referring qualified students. This appointment is for a period of three years, from this date to that date.

We expect that you assist such students in applying both for admission to the College and for any necessary Canadian Study Permits and/or Temporary Resident Visas. Any advertising or promotion dealing with Columbia College must be submitted to us for prior approval. Columbia College does not authorize you as our representative to offer potential or current students discounted rates on our tuition fees or any other fees.

We will pay you commission on students you refer who register at Columbia College based upon their programme on first registration and student type as defined:

a) New International students do not have legal status in Canada at the time of application to Columbia College (and are not in the process of extending or modifying their existing status). New International students must pre-pay a two-semester tuition deposit (equivalent to 24 credits) by a deadline stated in their letter of acceptance before they will be allowed to register.

b) New Local Transfer (NLT) students already have legal status in Canada (or are in the process of extending or modifying their existing status). NLTs are assessed fees each semester based upon the courses they register in.

The commission rate payable will be based upon the tuition fees assessed, including all non-refundable tuition deposits, as follows:

¹Academic students are all those who do not require English 094–097 and have not applied to Columbia College through an ESL partner school.

We will accept applications and pay commission on New International students (as defined in (a) above) from India or Kazakhstan only in the following cases:

1) Only representatives whose address in this contract is in India may refer students who hold Indian citizenship and are resident in India at the time of application to Columbia College.

2) Only representatives whose address in this contract is in Kazakhstan may refer students who hold Kazakhstan citizenship and are resident in Kazakhstan at the time of application to Columbia College.

Commission should not be deducted in advance. Commission will be paid within 30 days of the student’s first and, if relevant, second registration at Columbia College, as described above. Please note that commission payments to companies operating in Canada are subject to HST/GST. Commission payments made by Columbia College according to the above schedule includeHST/GST payable. On receiving commission payments from Columbia College, companiesoperating in Canada should remit appropriate HST/GST payment to the Canada Revenue Agency.

This agreement may be cancelled by either party for any reason on 30 days’ written notice.

To indicate your acceptance of these terms, please sign one copy of this agreement and return it to Columbia College, and keep one copy for your records.
