COLOR SCHEME PAINTINGREQUIREMENTS AND REFLECTION

Objectives:

1. To create an original painting, divided into 6 sections, each section painted in one color scheme.

2. Students will become familiar with: using a color wheel.

3. Students will learn how to mix secondary, tertiary and neutral colors and noticing the different effects of different color schemes. 4. Students are responsible to set up and clean up their area for painting.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. A grid of 6 6” square sections is drawn on paper.
  2. The design in each section has at least 9 spaces.
  3. Each section is painted with a different color scheme. Painting is neat.
  4. Edges of drawing (not grid) are either outlined with thin lines of paint or sharpie line.
  5. Work Hard and Help Others
