Mike Mudge, of Rock River Energy, informed the Council that the current supplier, Direct Energy, no longer submits bids for Electric Aggregation. Four bids were turned in: they were from First Energy, Constellation, Verde, and Homefield. Constellation offers the best rate 6.78 cents per kilowatt hour, with current rate being 4.789 cents. Mike Mudge informed the Council that if ComEd rates would dip lower than Constellation’s the city can opt out of the contract at any time without paying a penalty.

Commissioner Ken Williams moved to approve the Electric Aggregation Bid from Constellation for three (3) years, Seconded by Commissioner Tom Miller.

Commissioner Patrick Wiesner moved to approve sewer cleaning & televising Capital Improvement Project not to exceed $300,000.00, Seconded by Commissioner Ken Williams.

Commissioner Tom Izer announced that citizens can rake the gravel left behind in the terrace by the snowplows into the street and the street sweeper will clean them up.

Commissioner Patrick Wiesner moved to go into executive session to review past executive session minutes, Seconded by Commissioner Ken Williams.
