INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENT

The first four weeks of the semester are used to place interns. So even, if the student is not placed immediately, he/she is still earning hours. Once the internship is arranged, the student will report to the job site and must spend at least five hours a week working there.

All Interns will take an active role in obtaining their internships, as this is part of the internship experience. This will help students with their interviewing skills and also show them the importance of networking in today’s business environment.

We are trying to increase our database with individuals in our community; we encourage students to investigate internships with acquaintances or in family run businesses. If parents know of internships where they work, this may also provide opportunities.
