Ride With a Goal & Top Hat Classic Progressive Series #1 of 8

If you’ve been off the bike for a while and want to get back into riding or in shape to do the Top Hat Classic for Multiple Sclerosis on April 22, here’s a short 13 mile ride to get you started. A quite country road takes us 5 miles in and out to ranches, picnic areas, hiking & mountain biking trails. The road is flat on the way out with a gradual grade (nothing steep) into the park and a downhill on the way back. We’ll take a break where we started. For more riding, we can add another 12 miles and take a tour of San Ramon. We’ll focus on street riding and road etiquette. Bring water, snacks and $ for breaks. Take 680 north or south to San Ramon, exit at Bollinger east. Go to Bishop Ranch shopping center on the left, look for Greatland Target. Meet near Peet’s Coffee at 10 am.
