Marva Jorgensen shared information related to activities in her parishes and asked for continued prayers for Dee Hanish.

Annette Jesh discussed the new AED Law. Katie Tewalt from Allina Health Emergency Health Services will be contacted to update us on the new law at our April meeting. Annette also led a discussion related to 911 calls from our churches and parish centers. The suggestion was made that the address and directions for easiest access be posted so that individuals placing calls can direct emergency teams. Cell phones are more difficult to track and without clear directions emergency services can be delayed. Members were reminded to label cupboards where emergency supplies are located.

Ellen Ellickson shared information related to lobbying for outstate transportation and a local cardiac class.

Marjorie Henkemeyer reported that the Friday mini-sessions have been very successful along with the continued exercise classes.

June 2 Conference Update

Ellen reported that the conference brochure has gone to press and that we will continue to accept donations to offset the cost of the conference speaker.
