Summer Academy Meal Information
A free breakfast will be available for all Summer Academy students. Additionally, a free lunch will be provided to Rising K-6th Graders.
For all Rising 7th-12th Graders, a free snack will be available before dismissal.
Menus will be provided on the first day of Summer Academy.
Fort Discovery Childcare Program
Fort Discoverywill be available for all RisingK- Rising 6th Graders enrolled in the Fort Osage Summer Academy. Services will be available on-site for students attending the Summer Academy at the five elementary schools:
Blue Hills, Buckner, Cler-Mont, Elm Grove and Indian Trails.
You may reach the Fort Discovery office at 650-7449.
NOTE: Rising 5th and 6th grade students attending
Fire Prairie Upper Elementary will attend Fort Discovery at
Indian Trails Elementary and will ride a busto and from Fire Prairie for Summer Academy. Students enrolled in Fort Discovery will berequired to attend Summer Academy. Fees are listed in the summer school handbooks. For more information on Fort Discovery, click here.

Transportation
Transportationwill be available for transportation-eligible students attending Summer Academy. Students attending Summer Academy must be
five years of age on or before May 30thto ride the bus.
Note: Transportation is not provided for A+ tutors earning hours in a different building from which they are enrolled. Check the building handbook for summer academy routes, as bus stops may not be the same as those during the regular school year. All other inquiries should be made directly to the Transportation office at 650-7200.

Students enrolled in Summer Academy by May 8th will receive a confirmation letter at school on or before May 13th and will be guaranteed bus transportation on the first day of Summer Academy.
Enrollment forms will be accepted after May 8thbut those students will
not receive a confirmation letter and may not be eligible to ride the bus on
the first day of Summer Academy.The transportation department will contact parentsto make arrangements for students with enrollment forms received after May 8th.
