Branch Quiz Night & Prize Raffle

Branch Quiz Night & Prize Raffle

NEWS SHEET 28 OCTOBER 2002

Dear Branch Member

I hope this correspondence finds you in good health and enjoying the season so far? The main reason for this News Sheet, apart from the latest branch news is to let you know that I am taking a little ‘time out’ and going on my holidays on the 10th of November to sunny Cape Town for three weeks! This is my postponed holiday from last year before my ruptured patella put pay to that trip however this year I have wrapped myself in cotton wool and avoided slippery slops! So far so good…………The next issue of the newsletter, Issue 15, will now be ‘out on the streets’ towards the middle to the end of December and not at the end of this month as promulgated in Issue 14.

BRANCH QUIZ NIGHT & PRIZE RAFFLE

Thursday 7th November 2002. Venue: Crownhill Family Centre. 19:30 hours for a 20:00 start.

Would you all be kind enough to consider donating a raffle prize for the evening please? The Branch Secretary shall start the ball rolling by donating a bottle of port!

For those receiving this News Sheet by ‘snail mail’ then a ‘flyer’ is enclosed with more information about the evening. For those receiving it electronically if you require further information then please contact the Secretary on 01752 219472 or by mobile on 07973 629717.
