Specialty is a blend of various lines of businesses which makes our work very challenging as one needs to be meticulous with different guidelines and their impact. For majority of the lines of business, we are handling almost all the processes on the life cycle of the policy. This helps an employee in better and complete understanding of insurance processes.
The processes we handle vary in complexity and criticality; and with tenure and experience, employees graduate to more complex and critical processes within their respective lines of business which keeps them challenged and interested at all times.
What will your essential responsibilities include:
· Learn business processing in core underwriting system within the defined time periods as per separate Work-Stream plan / Training plan.
· Candidate would be required to support the Underwriters and their assistants by clearing submissions on a day to day basis.
· Would be responsible for renewing policies as per the monthly renewal report.
· In case of policy non-renewals and quotes not taken up, would be responsible for working on declinature and completing workflows.
· Would issue endorsements in case of any mid-term changes during the policy period.
· Would expand quotes and enter complete policy information in Genius as per the instructions from the underwriter.
· Reporting as and when required.
· Would be responsible for working on Ad-hoc reports as and when required.
You will report to Deputy Manager.
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
· University Graduate with at least 1 year of experience (subject to change) preferably in Insurance.
· Ability to follow defined processes / procedures.
· Organized, methodical, ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks.
· Ability to communicate results and technical issues in a professional manner.
· Strong communication skills: both verbal and written business communication.
· Ability to prioritize workload and customer service orientation.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft office products.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Candidate must be task oriented and have accurate data entry skills, demonstrate organizational skills and flexibility.
· Possess good interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and enter information accurately.
