General Information

  • DateTime:15June 2013; 12.00-17.00
  • Venue:“STRIKE” bowling center; 17a Satpayev str., Atyrau
  • Organiser:European Business Association of Kazakhstan

The management and refereeing of the Tournament

  • Overall management and control over the competitions is carried out by representatives of the organising committee (EUROBAK);
  • All disputes are resolved by the head referee of competitions
  • Handicap: for women 10 + points
  • Head Referee together with the organising committee (EUROBAK) has the right to take the decision to withdraw the team from the competition for:
  • failure to comply with public order;
  • disrespectful attitude towards other teams, the organising committee and referee;
  • unacceptable behavior of the team;
  • smoking in a prohibited place;

Teams

  • Participate in the tournament can a company, which confirmed its agreement with these Rules & Regulations and paid a one-time membership fee for participating in the tournament (90 000 KZT) prior to the event;
  • Players from one team should represent only one company;
  • Each team should:

-consist of not more than 12 people (5 players + 7 fans/reserve players)

-should have at least one representative of the top management of the Company.

-submit Final Entry Form, signed by all team members and head of the company (Attachment 2)

-submit Confirmation Letter on company’s letterhead, signed by head of the company (Attachment 3)

  • In one game at the same time take part in only 5 players
  • Replacement players can be made:
  • before the start of the game
  • in case of emergency during the game (with the permission of the Referee)
  • All team members should be in uniform: T-shirts with the name or logo of the company
  • Before the start of games each team is given five minutes to warm up
  • In case of not coming of the team or participating less than 5 people – the team loses

The scheme of the Tournament

  • In case of participation of 14 or less teams, the following scheme will be applied :

Qualification Round: 12.00-15.00

Qualification round consists of 3 games. The result of each game is determined by the sum of the results of five players. Games are held one team on the same line. Allocation of teams on the lines will be according to the Preliminary Entry forms, which must be sent to the Organising Committee

Six teams have scored the highest points (the sum of 3 games) will be selected to participate in the Final Round

Final Round:15.30-16.30

In the Final Round there will be 6 teams. Winners (3 prize places) are determined by the results of one Final Game.

In case of equality of points scored by the teams, the advantage given to the team that has the highest result of one of the players in this game.

Award

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded with cups, medals and diplomas, as well as special prizes.
  • Best Male and Best Female results will be awarded with special cups and prizes (best result - the highest score in one game).
