The monthly Executive Committee meeting started at 1135 with Ms. Patsy Provines calling the meeting to order.

The minutes from the September Executive Committee meeting were not available to review.

Old Business:

·  Website/Facebook and Newsletter. We still need volunteers.

·  Holiday Party – Thursday, 6 Dec, Koa Molina Officers Club. Discussed the possible events including games, raffle, activities, motivational speaker, “Toys for Tots”. We will need a Holiday Party Committee to organize the events. Patsy Provines reserved the Koa Molina for 120 people at a cost of $2,580. Motion carried to subsidize the cost of members’ meals at $16.50. Members will pay $5.00 and non-members will pay $21.50. Patsy will ask the caterer for different menu options.

·  Audit – payment for auditing services. Motion carried to pay a CPA $100 for the service of auditing the chapter’s financial records.

·  Module 1 Audio Course. Discussed the status. CPT Mosley will check the availability of the USARPAC G-8 Conference Room

New Business:

·  Business Checks. Motion carried to order 150 duplicate business checks at a cost of $147.09.

·  Scholarship Program. Mary Garcia presented her proposal to award three High School Scholarships for $2000, $1500, and $1000, and one Continuing Education scholarship for an ASMC Member of $1000. The committee agreed.

·  Award Program – status. Nothing’s been done. Patsy Provines will follow-up with Dante Cacal. (Dante contacted Patsy on 11 Oct and asked that someone else be appointed as Awards Chair.)

·  Community Service – Toys for Tots. We will start collecting toys at the October luncheon for pick-up by the Marine Corps at the Holiday Party on 6 Dec.

·  Inventory. The committee agreed that hand receipts were not necessary. The President will maintain the laoptop, projector, and cables and coins in her office.

·  The next luncheon will be held on 18 Oct at the Tradewinds Enlisted Club, Guest Speakers from USARPAC on the USARPAC Fiscal Triad.

·  Need CPEs available at the luncheons.
