Nothin’ But the Facts

Are you ready to take control of your physical health and your financial health?

Take a look at these facts:

1.  The average 65-year-old person had more money in their bank account when they were 18 years old than they have today.

2.  Typical non-mortgage household debt is about $38,000.

3.  70% of people that retire have insufficient income to meet their financial needs.

4.  Financial stress is the leading cause of divorce.

5.  Most bankruptcies could be avoided with just an additional income of just $200 a month.

6.  Many families are only two paychecks away from being homeless.

YIKES! Do any of those apply to you?

Now envision (Apply a drop of Envision Oil on your forehead).

1.  Financial freedom

2.  No more rush hour traffic

3.  Lifestyle freedom

4.  Your heart’s desire

Are you searching for a career that will make a great difference in the world you live in? Are you done with the misconceptions of corporate security? Create a lifestyle that does not include 9 to 5 work hours or having someone else deciding your income within the confines of corporate structure. Do not live the dreams of someone else! You are invited to join the most ethical business that exists today, a business that truly builds people. . . YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS.

What is Network Marketing?

Listen to or watch to “Brilliant Compensation”

We know it by many names; Multi-Level Marketing, MLM, Referral Marketing, Direct Marketing/Selling, Network Marketing. What does it mean? How does it work?

When people receive an exchange of compensation for referring a customer to a company, that is Network Marketing. How often has a friend gone to a movie or restaurant based on your recommendation? With Network Marketing, you would be rewarded for this referral. This exchange can be commissions, coupons, discounts, bonuses, prizes, etc. Mary Young stated that compensation is Young Living’s way of saying “thank you” to their distributors for referring new customers to the Company.

You could be looking for a way to generate a full or part-time income. Network Marketing is a proven way for people to be successful and reap the rewards of their own efforts, enjoying the benefits of owning their own business. These benefits may include tax advantages, working from home, flexible schedule, minimal capital investment, travel, etc. Most importantly, you will control and enjoy what you do.

Network Marketing is a legitimate business model. If it was not, companies like Coca Cola, IBM, Citibank, Microsoft, and AT&T would not be using it. They realize that the relationships between people are a valuable marketing tool. Network Marketing is even part of business school curriculums at many universities!

How do you know if you have chosen the correct company to build a business with?

According to Brilliant Compensation, the ideal networking company would offer:

1.  An Expanding Market

2.  Unique & Consumable Products

3.  A Position In Front of Trends & Timing

4.  Leverage to Grow YOUR Business and the Businesses of Others

. . . Young Living Essential Oils offers all the above!

What’s Your Story?

Why do YOU get excited about having your own business? What is it about Young Living that gives you passion? Having your own “STORY” is a very important part of successfully sharing Young Living with others. This story is short, sweet, and to the point. It should be no more than 2 minutes (more becomes boring and you lose people).

Write your #1 Young Living story. It could be about the products, the business - whatever is your best. Use colorful adjective: tell people how you really felt before, now, and after your first Young Living experiences.

Before Young Living came into my life I ______

______

Then, when I started (my business, using the products) ______

______

Now I experience ______

______

It really changed my life because ______

______

Use this story when you talk to people about Young Living. Practice it until it comes off your tongue like silk. Tell it to everyone you know and meet from this point forward. Be passionate! Be fun! Share!

Income Possibilities

(Apply a drop of Abundance Oil to your wrists and neck)

There are many ways you can earn an income with your Young Living business. Commissions, bonuses, rebates, retail mark up, and holding classes are a few. If you are a health professional, you can use essential oils to enhance your practice. Therapies like Raindrop Technique, Auricular Therapy, Aromatherapy Massage, and Emotional Release all directly involve the essential oils.

Commissions are gained when you, as Distributor, introduce people to Young Living and bring them into your organization (see page 9). You may enroll them as Distributors, and they may grow their own business. Or, you can enroll them as Customers/Preferred Customers who purchase product direct from the Company. Commissions vary depending on where individuals you place in your organization and on the volume of their sales. (Preferred Customers and Customers are not eligible to earn commissions.)

Young Living has established Wholesale Distributor, Preferred Customer, and Customer prices. “Customer” pricing is typically used as retail; however, many vendors set a retail price to whatever they feel is appropriate to cover costs and earn profit.

If you are performing a service, such as teaching classes or essential oil therapy, you can charge what the market will bear. An introductory class varies from $5 to $20 depending on materials used. Weekend workshops vary depending on time, course materials, and topic. Essential oil therapies reflect a normal hourly rate plus additional monies to cover the cost of the oils used. For example, Raindrop practitioners may increase prices $15 to $25 above standard massage rates.

I would like to earn income with my Young Business in the following ways:

______

My ultimate goal is to earn $______or more per month with Young Living.

I understand Young Living’s Compensation and Bonus Program

Types of Customer Accounts

DISTRIBUTOR accounts purchase items at Wholesale when they have met the following Young Living requirements: 1) Social Security Number or Federal Employee Identification Number (FEIN) on file, 2) Purchase of the $49.95 Success Kit or a $149.95 Starter Pack, 3) Distributor Agreement on file. If these requirements are not met, Customer price will be paid.

Only Distributors may participate in Young Living’s commission program. As a Distributor, you may choose to participate in the autoship program, which would be to your advantage.

PREFERRED CUSTOMERS are accounts that are required to participate in Young Living’s Essential Rewards Autoship Program. They purchase products directly from Young Living at approximately 12% above wholesale price. As a Preferred Customer, one is not able to enroll others into the Company and receive commissions. If at any time a Preferred Customer chooses to become a Distributor, he/she may contact Young Living Customer Service, meet the requirements, and then the change will be effective immediately.

CUSTOMERS order products directly from Young Living and pay 24% above wholesale pricing. Like Preferred Customers, one is not able to introduce others to the Company and receive commissions. If at any time a Customer chooses to become an Affiliate, he/she may contact Young Living Customer Service, meet the requirements, and then the change will be effective immediately.

PROFESSIONAL accounts order directly from Young Living. This type of account is the only one that can be tax exempt. The drawback is that in order for Professionals to receive discounts, their orders must be in quantity. Discounts are as follows per individual orders: under 499 PV; no discount, from 500 to 999.99 PV: they receive 24% below retail; 1,000 PV or more: they receive 27% below retail.

Professional accounts have a few other stipulations: 1) they must be established with a Federal Employee Identification Number (FEIN), 2) possess state business license, 3) demonstrate business legitimacy via store front (or comparable), 4) CANNOT build a downline or participate in Young Living’s commission program.

I fully understand the difference between all of the above accounts and can explain them easily to others.

Establishing a Business Presence

We encourage you to FIRST set yourself up for success by completing the checklist below, before you begin to develop a customer base. You will feel prepared when the phone starts ringing!

GETTING STARTED CHECKLIST:

1.  Designate an office space in your home. Have cabinet space, folders, and supplies that are dedicated to your business.

2.  Have access to a computer. One of the most convenient, cost effective, and efficient ways to communicate is through the internet and email. You can also set up or purchase databases like the www.ylfamily.com to manage and track your growth.

3.  Dedicate a phone line to your business. If possible, do not make it your home line. It is more professional to have a line dedicated to your business. You could solely dedicate a cell phone. Or, purchase answering machines with multiple mailboxes where you can define “Press 2 for Young Living, Press 3 for the Johnson Family”.

4.  Name your business. Give yourself identity and credibility.

5.  Obtain business cards, letterhead, stationery, labels, and a rubber stamper. The information on your all of them should include your name, phone number, email address, Young Living member number, and website (if applicable). Have them printed, or design them yourself - office supply stores carry card stock. Personalized Young Living cards are available through Alexander’s; their link is on the Young Living website.
