You will be asked to provide the following on your online application. You may want touse this document to collect textto copy and paste into the online application at a later date. This will save you time and also prevent loss of information in case anything happens to your online application.

We do not expect you to prepare documents in a special format for your proposal. You can use the mission, goals, project budgets, financial statements and audit statements that you use for you own management purposes.

For Overseas Organization or Office

  1. A one-page summary of the history and background of the organization
  2. Mission and/or Purpose Statement for the organization
  3. Contact information for the leadership of the organization: address, phone, e-mail
  4. Resumes or information about executive staff involved in management of the organization
  5. A two page summarized financial statement for overall operations of the organization for the most recent fiscal year. Include Balance Sheet and Income & Expense Statement. Clearly show the percentage of income used for programs, administration, and fundraising.
  6. Complete Audited Financial Statements – If you do not have an independent audit performed, then a statement of internal controls and review process is required.
  7. The organization’s Annual Budget
  8. List of Board Members and Board of Reference if applicable
  9. Disclose any connection your organization has with any member of the Tyndale House Foundation's Board of Directors.

For U.S. Fiscal Sponsor or U.S. Headquarters

  1. The Tax Exempt ID number from your IRS ruling or determination letter establishing U.S. federal Tax Exempt Status
  2. A one-page summary of the history and background of the organization
  3. Mission and/or Purpose Statement for the organization
  4. Contact information for the leadership of the organization: address, phone, e-mail
  5. Resumes or information about executive staff involved in management of the organization
  6. A two page summarized financial statement for overall operations of the organization for the most recent fiscal year. Include Balance Sheet and Income & Expense Statement. Clearly show the percentage of income used for programs, administration, and fundraising.

  9. Organizations or projects overseas using a U.S. Fiscal Sponsor, or operating as a subsidiary or under the framework of a U.S. Headquarters office, are required to submit a letter from the U.S. office indicating the relationship and willingness to act for the overseas entity.
  10. List of Board Members and Board of Reference if applicable
  11. Disclose any connection your organization has with any member of the Tyndale House Foundation's Board of Directors.

About the project

  1. A one-page Executive Summary of the specific project, establishing the need and the organization’s ability to meet that need
  2. Specific dollar amount requested in U.S. dollars.
  3. Contact information for the leadership of the project: address, phone, e-mail
  4. Resumes or information about staff involved in management of the project
  5. Outline of plans to ensure ongoing viability and maintenance of the project in the future as well as maximum impact in the context of your overall ministry
  6. Detailed budget for the specific project, including projections for future years if applicable; can be in local currency.
  7. Contact information for the “account user name” – the person setting up your online application account who will receive all account correspondence via the email address used to set up your account. In some cases the “account user” may be a different person from staff who oversee the organization or the project.
