Explorers are based in 7 Divisional policing areas across West Yorkshire. Please tick a box below to select the nearest Police Station to where you live.

Each Explorer will be given an Explorer shirt. Please circle your usual size:

If successful, you will be expected to provide your own black trousers and black shoes.

Explorers are issued with an ID badge

Completed Application form – signed & including measurements & passport sized photo
Parental & Media Consent Form - signed
Vetting Application form - signed by a ‘sponsor’ & including proofs of identity. A sponsor must be someone who has known you at least 12 months and who is not a family member. This can be a teacher, neighbour, friend of the family, etc.

Please note that applications will be returned to you if not complete and the subsequent delay may result in your application missing the deadline.
