Kingdom Government

Apostolic Fathers and Mothers

PERSONAL ASSESSMENT-GATE ASSSESSMENT

What does “apostolic” or “apostolic relationships” mean to me?

Apostolic relationships are with spiritual fathers and mothers that are able to impart the heart of the Father to me. As apostolic leadership is developed then all the other gifts to men can find their place and build a dwelling place in the spirit for the Lord.

Then sons and daughters can grow up to become the men and women of God.

What does kingdom government mean to me? How does it function?

Kingdom government is relational, finding it’s origin in the Father’s relationship to Jesus. Among men it is the relationship that demonstrates the Father’s heart and love. As we grow together those who are more mature nurture and help others grow by equipping, empowering and encouraging them in the ways of the Lord.

What is the government structure of The Gate? How would I describe how it functions to someone who knew nothing about it?

The Gate functions corporately as an apostolic company. Those who are in leadership during a meeting are constantly looking to see where Holy Spirit is leading. This include deferring to one another and listening to one another. This same flow of life is needed to guide and direct the future of The Gate. Mature leadership in the form of an apostolic company that hears and follows Holy Spirit.

What are the obstacles that exist in the governmental structure of The Gate that could delay or derail a revival culture and Kingdom government?

There is an underlying sentiment among many that seems to convey a belief that leadership is not needed or required to grow and mature. This will prevent us from developing sons and daughters into mature leaders that will be needed to train up a generation in the ways of the Lord. We must come together with common language, common vision and common understanding to create revival culture and to walk in Kingdom government.

What are the obstacles in our thinking that could delay or derail personal revival and keep us from proper alignment and kingdom placement?

Fear of creating a religious institution could delay or derail personal revival and keep us from proper alignment in the Kingdom. Fear of authority will prevent us from embracing God given gifts of leadership. The followers of Jesus became the leaders of the advancing Kingdom of God. Lack of commitment to one another will prevent us from being built together as living stones into the dwelling place of the Lord. We must move beyond our present mindsets, world systems and fear to allow God to form a new wineskin to that will hold the fresh new wine of the Kingdom of God.
