Solution

Screen is blank, no light on or unsure if phone has power / Press end call key once.
Check the phone is sat in cradle and connected.
Ensure USB is plugged in, with the arrow should be on the underside of USB pointing upwards.
Connections check / Arrow needs to be pointing up on the top side of the USB connect when charging directly from the phone into the wall. If customer is able to charge with cable connection but not using cradle, please replace cradle.
Speech function not working / Press and hold button on the top right hand edge for three to four seconds to turn speech on/off. If off the screen will show a speaker with a cross through it. The phone will then announce if you have turned the text-to-speech on or off.
If the volume is muted, turn the speech back on by increasing the volume again. To turn up your phone's volume, press the volume up rocker button in the middle of the right side of the phone.
Check if memory card is inserted as this is required for speech - sometimes users take out the memory card instead of the sim card.
Networking Settings / You can check your battery and network setting by pressing the button on the top right hand side.
Contacting your provider or any network issues / Contact your provider by dialling 150 on the handset or the phone number that came with your network provider paperwork. You could also suggest the customer contact 195, but this has to be set up by the customer and supported by their network (BT)
Charging / Charge to 100% and then drain and recharge. Try to avoid recharging the phone until its down to 10% - this will extend the battery life.
Make sure phone is switched on as it won’t automatically turn on when charging.
Memory Card / Check if the memory card has moved or come loose by checking the top right hand corner on the device. This piece slides upwards 2mm and then lifts up.
Speaker / Ensure volume is only on half way when the phone is first switched on and then increase or decrease accordingly.
Don’t start the unit with the volume on full as this can damage the speaker in the long term.
