The superintendent recommends the Allen East Board of Education approve the hourly rate for Allen County Sheriff’s Department to provide police protection for athletic games and extra-curricular activities to $25.00 per hour per officer. This is to amend resolution #0817-1164 that was adopted on August 15, 2017.

16. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH OAPSE LOCAL 558: (#______)
The superintendent recommends the Allen East Board of Education enters into a Memorandum of Understanding with OAPSE 558 to create a new collective bargaining position for a mechanic/maintenance person. The position will be for 260 days and be eligible for a family health plan. The MOU further adds a salary schedule for the position of mechanic/maintenance person.
