B = 89-80
C = 79-73
D = 72-68
In progress or failure = 67-0
Each student's AFJROTC course grade will be calculated using the following method:
- Aerospace Science (usually on Monday and Wednesday): 40% of grade

-- Broken evenly between class participation (10%), verbal and written quizzes (10%), oral reports (10%) and closed book tests at the end of each chapter (10%)
- Leadership Education (usually on Tuesday and Thursday): 40% of grade
-- Closed-book test at the end of each unit or lesson(10%)
-- Includes proper wear of the uniform (10%) (almost always on Wednesday)
-- Class participation including flight drill and other flight activities(20%)

-- Community Service hours during semester for additional credit toward overall grade
- Wellness Program (wellness/fitness topics, usually on Friday): 20% of grade

UNIFORMS
Instructors will conduct one weekly uniform inspection, almost always on Wednesday. Failure to wear the uniform will result in a grade of zero for that week's inspection. Each Monday, the instructors will let cadets know which uniform combination to wear on Wednesday of that week (for example, short-sleeved shirt/blouse with open collar or long-sleeved shirt/blouse with tie/tab).
