Students who intend to join the Ski & Snowboard Club and want to hold a spot on the buses MUST attend the after school meetings. No exceptions!

***Students will remain assigned to the same bus for ALL trips they plan to attend. PLEASE NOTE-Students may not change buses for any reason once they sign up.

LESSONS & RENTALS

Please note ANY STUDENT who is a beginner and skiing or snowboarding for the 1st time is required to take a lesson on the mountain.

It is recommended that parents have their child rent equipment locally.

*Parents will need to make rental reservation themselves by calling the mountain 2 weeks ahead of time.

If you have no helmet, you will need to rent one on the mountain. Generally there is a $10.00 fee to rent helmets.

Do you agree to rent a helmet on the mountain if needed? Yes/ No

Students please note all of the following above mentionedinformation needs to be in place 2 weeks prior to each ski trip. Most mountains require 2 weeks advance notice for rentals & lessons.

STUDENT CHECK LIST

1.______Parent permission and accident release form signed by parents/guardians.*These forms MUST include insurance information NEATLY printed. A copy of the insurance card is helpful to have on file in case of an emergency if needed.

2. ______RCK Ski Club Code of Conduct- signed by both parent/guardian & student.

3.______Check payments for all bus trips will need to be made by 12/14/16- Students will need to decide which trips they are planning to attend and pay for all of the bus fees at one time. Leprechaun Lines booksahead very quickly,so it’s important to reserve and pay for the buses in advance of the ski trips.

*Please make all checks payable to the RCK Ski Club.

***IMPORTANT: Please note THEREare NO REFUNDS for the bus fees.

Once students pay the fees for their bus trips, there will be no refundsreimbursed from Leprechaun Lines. Bus fees received are NOTreimbursable to the RCK Ski Club students. The only exception is if Leprechaun Lines cancels a trip due to inclement weather. This is a rare occasion and if any trips are canceled, they usually will be rescheduled for an alternate date. Check the RCK Ski Club website for updates or cancellation information.

______Parents please sign here stating that you are aware there will be NO REFUNDS for bus payments once they are made to the RCK Ski Club.

4.______A copy of the student’s report card or 5-week progress report is required. *Students must be academically eligible to attend the RCK Ski Club trips. RCK will not print report cards for the students so please print at home or send them to my attention electronically to )

PLEASE NOTE-The Guidance Department will NOT print report cards for Ski Club purposes. Sorry we are a large club and they don’t have the time to print report cards for us.
