Introduction
Surrounded by open countryside this detached cottage enjoys all round views from its secluded location in a private lane. Furnished to a high standard and 5 star rated, this cosy cottage has traditional slate floors, an aga and woodburning stove. The landscaped gardens are securely fenced and there is room for three cars to park. Pets are welcome
The ancient village of Tintagel, steeped in myth and legend is just a 10 minute walk via a footpath from the property. King Arthur's island is also only a 10 minute walk along the coast path, which is accessed 50 yards from the cottage.
Pre-Arrival
• We have a telephone that receives incoming calls - internet services are available in the village
• We have a bus timetable and buses can be boarded in Tintagel half a mile away
• Tintagel can be reached on foot across two fields - approx 10 minutes or via the road - 5mins
• Tescos in Wadebridge can deliver your groceries if booked in advance
• Local taxis are available with phone numbers displayed in the cottage
• The cottage would be difficult for guests with mobilty impairments to access due to varying levels in the garden, and the paths beings covered in loose stones. Although there is a shower room downstairs all the sleeping accommodation is up a steep flight of stairs.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• There is room for three cars to park - approximately 4m from the house
• The path to the house is narrow and has several small steps along a stony path.
• External lighting comes on automatically
• Dog bowls and towels are available.
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
• There are two entrances into the cottage and both involve uneven stony paths
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
• The cottage is on two levels with shower room. wc, kitchen, sitting areas and dining room downstairs and the bedrooms and bathrooms reached via a steep staircase.
Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc
• There are no steps on the ground floor but the doorways are of a normal width.
Outdoor Facilities
• The garden is landscaped with several seating areas.
• The paths of of uneven surface and level
• The cottage is detatched and in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
• Outside lights will come on if there is movement in the garden
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
• There are no bedrooms suitable for wheelchair users as they are all upstairs

• There is a downstairs shower with a step into it.
Additional Information
• The cottage caretaker leaves very close and is available for emergencies
