Final Question

Do you think it is very romantic to be in love with some one who has died or is unattainable? Why or why not? Please answer these questions with a paragraph or two. (Not simply yes or no).

I think that it depends on your thought and what you feel about that person. If you are crazy in love with someone then you might feel sad when their gone but you might still be in love with that person. I personally think that it isn’t crazy or romantic to be in love with the dead. I think that if Edgar Allan Poe visited Annabel Lee the day of her death then he would think that it was romantic. If I were in love with someone and they died, I think that I would never visit them and if I did it wouldn’t be romantic. I would just get over them.

It might be romantic if someone brought red roses and dinner to the grave yard where their love was buried. The only thing about that is the dead person wouldn’t know what was happening. I wouldn’t do this because I’m not crazy in love with anyone. If I were crazy in love with someone that is dead I would probably drop-off flowers for them often. The only difference between these two events is the difference in romance and just being nice.
