  • Shortly after joining Mrs. Resslers Foods as Maintenance Manager, ownership purchased a new building. In addition to running the maintenance department of one facility, I was also responsible for preparing for and executing the move of the entire facility to the new location. Completed the installation of the electrical and air drops, designed the layout and installed all machinery and equipment in a more functional and efficient manner than the old facility allowed, enabling me to further reduce downtime by 23%. When the move was completed and the facility was fully operational, I was responsible for the closure and shutdown of the old facility.
  • Daily responsibilities included all repair, maintenance and preventative maintenance for all plant equipment, air compressors, boilers, water softeners, waste water, refrigeration of an ammonia based system and facility operations.
  • Responsible for the extrusion equipment which we used to package our product. We installed new silo’s to handle the production demand along with installing a pm system designed just to take care of the plastic division of the business.
  • Designed and implemented both a PM system and parts inventory system which decreased spending by 27% and decreased downtime by 31%.

  • Responsible for the repair, maintenance and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Scheduled to ensure that there were 21 maintenance employees across 3 shifts, along with a maintenance supervisor, boiler operator and waste water operator to meet plant compliance guidelines.
  • Trained all department and plant machine operators on safety programs, worked with upper management to implement cost effective solutions to reducing downtime, reducing overtime costs and increasing productivity.
  • Developed preventative maintenance programs and delivered to staff.
  • When the company closed, I was responsible for selling off machinery, spare parts, and the complete closure of the facility.

  • Producer plastic injection molded and extruded medical devices and supplies (syringes).
  • Plastic machinery on the plant floor: 4 twin screw extruders & 11 injection molding machines.
  • Responsible for the mechanical operation of the production floor, compressors, chemical storage and mixing room and supervised a staff of 15 maintenance technicians and 1 facility technician.
  • Managed and controlled the electronic preventive maintenance system (Prodius) and demand work order system, asset control, hazmat control systems, OEM parts and inventory for critical parts list.
