2018 Illinois/Iowa State USAGymnastics

Trampoline & Tumbling

Championships

PURPOSE: The USAGymnastics Illinois/Iowa State Meet will name State Champions and Medalists for Levels 1-4. These Levels are also invited to attend the Region IV Championships. The USAGymnastics Illinois State Meet will name State Champions and Medalists for Levels 5-10 who have met their prequalifying meet minimums. These Levels are also required to compete at Region IV Championships in order to compete at the National Level. The Youth Elite, Jr. Elite, Sr. Elite and Open Elite State competitions will name State Champions in all disciplines. All changes after, March 30 will incur a $25 change fee.

PROGRAMS: $5.00

RULES: USAG T&T Rules from the current Code of Points will be used.

Please note that there will be no finals. All age groups are based

On the age of the competitor as of December 31, 2018.

EQUIPMENT: Ross Equipment 2 Euro trampolines, 1 double mini, 1 rod floor

AWARDS: 1ST thru 10th Awards will be awarded at the end of the flights in a separate

awards area. Participation Trophies will be provided to all competitors.

TRAMPOLINE COACHES must spot the trampoline when their athletes are competing on trampoline. Please volunteer to do this as necessary, so we don’t have to stop the competition.

MIDWEST CHALLENGE

At the state meeting, a decision to not have a challenge this year was made, however, every club is to donate 200.00 and a raffle basket

The Midwest Challenge is offered to benefit the World Age Group Athletes from the State of Illinois to offset their travel expenses and for Illinois Judges. We are thanking you in advance for your donation.

RAFFLE BASKETS: Once again, we are asking each gym to put together an amazing basket full of goodies that can be raffled off during the State of Illinois competition. These funds will also be used for athletes and Judges going to the World Age Group Games.
