1. SPORTING REGULATIONS - GENERAL

1.1Title & Jurisdiction:

1.3Competitor Eligibility:

1.3.1Entrants must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of the [*] and be in possession of a current MSA Entrants Licences.

1.3.2Drivers and Entrant/Drivers must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of the [*], be Registered for the Championship and be in possession of a current Competition [*] Status Licence, as a minimum.

Or, (delete if not applicable) be a professional driver in possession of a valid Licence (featuring an E.U. flag) and medical, issued by the ASN of a member country of the European Union.

A competitor shall not take time off school to participate in motor sport without the prior written approval of their school. If participation in the Championship requires absence from school, Drivers in full time school education are required to have the approval of their head teacher and a letter stating such approval from his/her school in order to fulfil registration for the Championship.

3. TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

3.1Eligible vehicles?

Standard Car Class

3.2.1. Description

A category designed to provide low budget competition for newcomers to the sport or those with limited funds. Other than those detailed below, no other modifications are permitted.

3.2.2. Eligible Vehicles

Road-Going Series Production Cars – Saloonsand Sports Cars produced in quantities of not less than5000 per annum of unitary ferrous construction, two wheel drive and up to 2litre engine capacity. Competitors are reminded of the first paragraph of J.5.1

It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure that the car is eligible.

Any replacement components fitted must be to Standard Part/Standard Pattern Part.

3.2.2.1.Cars must compete in all aspects in road legal condition. Fleet insurance policies and/or trade plates are not permitted.

3.2.2.2. Modifications permitted

(i) Roll cages may be fitted but must not accept or assist any direct suspension loads.

(ii) Additional safety harness may be fitted but the original seat belts must remain.

(iii) The driver’s seat may be replaced with a Competition Seat.

(iv) Brake friction material may be uprated.

3.2.3.Wheels and tyres

Standard wheels and tyres from List 1A only may be used.
