Three $500 scholarships will be awarded by the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce to graduating seniors; one each to students from Harrison Prep, Clover Park and Lakes High Schools on Thursday, June 1, 2017. These scholarships are specifically for students who wish to work in the for-profit business world.

Scholarship monies may be used toward tuition, books and laptop (tools for education.) For tuition, college/university/trade school must provide proof of enrollment. For books and laptop, student must provide receipts for reimbursement unless otherwise predetermined.

Applications must be typed or printed legibly in black ink.Submit this application with a sealed school transcript of grades no later than by 5:00pm, May 19, 2017 via email to: or mail to: Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, 6310 Mt. Tacoma Drive SW, Suite B, Lakewood, WA 98499.

Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend a luncheon held in their honor on Thursday, June 1, 2017, beginning at 11:30 a.m.at the Tacoma Country & Golf Club.The Chamber of Commerce will pay for lunch for each student. Should recipients wish to invite school personnel, friends and/or family members, they will be required to purchase their lunch ($20.00 per person). Please note DRESS CODE.
