Please note that Craxton Studios is in a residential area and there are not many shops or cafes nearby.

You will have 10 minutes to run through your pieces with the accompanist, but it is not possible to warm up on site. There are changing facilities for those who have travelled long distances on the day itself.

ACCOMPANISTS/MUSIC

Each singer is allocated an official accompanist and this information will be supplied along with your time slot in the schedule uploaded onto the website.

It is not possible to bring an additional instrument for an obbligato aria.

Please provide a clean photocopy of your music (the best edition you can find) and tape any loose pages together. Full score is preferable to piano reductions. You may use the original score rather than a photocopy.

You may contact your accompanist in advance to arrange a coaching session before the day, for which there is a set fee of £30 p/h payable directly.

Please note that all music should be performed at A-415 pitch.

RESULTS

The results of the first round will be available on the LHF website from 17February onwards. We will not contact you personally unless you have been selected for the Semi-Final. At this point the judges are not able to provide any feedback on individual performances.
