2008 FALL BOARD MEETING

CONFERENCE CALL

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

7:02 pm- Meeting called to order:

1. Roll Call of Board:

2. Approval of 2008 Spring meeting minutes:

• Motion to approve, 1st Tom Balzer, 2ndTom Mikelson, all in favor, motion passed

3. Old Business:

• Background checks:
• All officials 18 years and older need to have the form sent in before they will be allowed on the ice, NDHOA will cover the fee’s for the background checks when the bill is received from NDAHA.

• All background check forms are to be sent to Brad Pratt, he will deliver them to NDAHA

• Motion by Brad Pratt, 2nd by Tom Mikelson to allow reciprocity for members of MNHOA into NDHOA, the MNHOA member will need to fill out the NDHOA registration form, no fee will be charged for reciprocity, all in favor, motion passed

4. New Business:

• Gary Fiddler; Northern Plains DRIC
• Seminar supplies will be sent out on Monday, Sept 15Grand Forks and Fargo will receive their supplies first

• Supplies will be based on the number of last years attendees’ at each seminar

• Their will not be any seminar disc this year, instructors are to use USA Hockey web site to download the seminar power point presentation

• Seminar Instructors are to use sign in forms that were used in the past for USA Hockey

• Match Penalties’, proper procedure needs to be followed along with the proper paper work submitted promptly after the incident.

• North Dakota needs to find a seminar coordinator for the state.

• Possibility of two level 4 seminars in North Dakota next year, Northern Plains District would be willing to sponsor one of the seminars

• Motion by Rick Fuehrer, 2nd by Dave LaDouceuor, to remove Kevin J Glatt and Gary Fiddler as authorized signatories on the checking account and to authorize Treasurer Tom Balzer and Brad Pratt as signatories with (1) signature needed, all in favor, motion passed

• Motion by Dave LaDouceuor, 2nd by Tom Mikelson, to remove Gary Fiddler as the registered agent of the NDHOA and to appoint Tom Balzer as the registered agent. All in favor, motion passed

• NDHOA will not have a representative at the fall meeting of NDAHA on Sept 20, 2008, discussion, motion by Brad Pratt,2nd Dave LaDouceuor for Tom Balzer to represent NDHOA at the Fall meeting of NDAHA, all in favor, motion passed

• NDRIC Update, NPDRIC Gary Fiddler has been supplied with two names for the position, Tom Balzer of Bismarck and Scott Strande of Minot, discussion, Brad Pratt also expressed interest in the position but would like some time to think about it, Candidates’ will have to be discussed with Greg Evenson, NDAHA President.
