Morwen Ashton came along to talk about Cider.

Morwen is taking lead on Cider.

All cider from Apple Day has been made and stored at Davids for the last two years. Moving forward this David does not want to store so VH need to organise frost free storage for the barrels. The cider making equipment belongs to VH but has been stored at Davids again this needs to change. We have had offers from Village Members who are prepared to store the equipment VHC to discuss.

Moving forward David is prepared to ferment but would like VHC to get involved with the actual making. This would be easier when new kitchen is installed.

More mutual work between VHC and Cider makers re managing cider and selling the cider. So we estimate there is £1200 worth of cider and VHC and Pantry to sell

So VHC to organise storage in side store in VH.

Mulled Cider to be made and sold at PUP

We will consider prep of cider when New Kitchen is installed

3. Matters Arising

A.Play Area the area there have been no call from flyer of Parish Mag

B Development Fund Chris and Mario to work on a possibly funding application.

VHC have reviewed what need to be done in Kitchen and will get quotes re done.

4. Treasurers Report CW so far we have a £3500 surplus about £3000 needed for repairs etc

The income from Halloween was good approx £240 surplus

5.Events Report

Halloween was a well attended event..

Film night was less well attended but enjoyable.

17 Nov Uke Night Tickets have gone well

24 PUP no barrel as not well attended last year as it follows Uke night.

25 Nov Christmas Decs for VH Kin to do Tea and Coffee Mulled cider and soft drinks.

15 Dec Christmas Drinks Hillary To do Mince Pies Free Mulled wine and cider then cash bar.

SP and KW to sort Mulled Wine and Mulled Cider from Morwen 50 Mince Pies needed and PC to pay 50%

2018 May poss with a different Band VHC to review cost for Boudlum £400 Uke is £150

Poss Pamper Eve to be discussed

Film Night but not until March
