ABOUT RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT

Young people share a restless determination to address the problems that affect them the most. That’s where we come in.

At Restless Development, we’re proud to be the banner carrier for youth-led development, demonstrating from the grassroots to the global policy levels that young people can and must play a leading role in development. As a result, Restless Development is repeatedly cited as a model of best practice in youth-led development by the World Bank, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), UNICEF, UNAIDS and others.

The Programme Support Team, within the International Programmes Unit works to support our global hubs in the implementation and quality of the DFID-funded International Citizen Service (ICS) and wider volunteer-led programmes. Working closely with teams in 7global hubs, including the UK, we lead the global vision of ICS and drive high quality delivery of the programme through strong support and coordination.

As part of a VSO-led consortium we will provide structured opportunities for thousands of young people from the UK and global South to work together to address some of the world’s most pressing issues on the ground while developing a generation of active, global citizens.
