Should the meet be oversubscribed, taking into account the session length, the 400m freestyle shall be limited to 4 heats of each gender with 3 reserves, before applying restrictions to the other events.

Meet Conditions and General Information

1. The meet will be held under ASA laws and ASA Technical rules of swimming and
   is licensed by the ASA level 3 for entry into Regional Championships.
   
2. The capacity of the meet is limited and swims will be allocated on first come first served basis until the gala is full. Should the meet be oversubscribed, taking into account the session length, then the 400m freestyle shall be limited to 4 heats of each gender with 3 reserves before applying restrictions to the other events.
   
3. The ages are 9yrs,10,11,12,13,14,15yrs/over, age as at date of gala 4th March 2018
   
4. The events are all four strokes at 100m & 200m plus 50m Freestyle, 400m Freestyle and200m Individual Medley. In all events the winners are declared from the heats.
   
5. The entry fee is £5:00 per event, the closing date is Sunday27th February 2018 or when gala capacity is reached.Clubs are encouraged to use Sportsystems Entry Manager. Paper entries are surcharged at £1 per swimmer.
   
6. Spectator admission day ticket £5,programme £2. Coaches pass £10 (includes a light buffet lunch)
   
7. The pool is six lanes25 metres with anti-wave lane ropes, electronic timing and scoreboard.
   
8. The pool has limited facilities with a spectator capacity of 250 and please be aware that viewing of lane 6 is restricted.
   
9. Over the top starts may be used at the discretion of the lead Referee.
   
10. Starts lists will be displayed on the poolside and it is the swimmers responsibility to present themselves in good time for their heat. Announcements will be made for the events but there will be no calls for individual swimmers.
    
11. Heats will be swum as a combined age group and seeded on entry times. Awards will be made to the top 3 swimmers in each age in each event. Awards are not presented and may be collected from the Medal Table when the official result has been declared.
    
12. Entries will be processed as received and these can be viewed on the website. This entry list is confirmation of acceptance subject to compliance with the promoter’s conditions, no other notification shall be issued.
    
13. Should it be necessary to restrict entries then these swimmers will be notified by email.
    
14. Entry fees will only be refunded for unsuccessful entries or a bona fide medical problem for which evidence may be requested.
    
15. Results will be posted on the poolside and on notice board in the corridor behind the spectator gallery. Full results will be available on the club website.
    
16. Anything not covered by the above will be at the discretion of the promoter.
