1. ATTENDANCE

3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Rita wanted to make it clear that in January it is only necessary for a volunteerer to give out the letters for team selection at the Worcestershire cross country championships.
4. MATTERS ARISING
County Medals…Maurice has left a sample of medal at Kingswinford medal shop and is waiting for a price so we can decide what to do next.
Need to give consideration to holding a joint Track and Field Championships. This may help with providing more competition for the athletes.
Officials would need to start earlier but if more could attend more breaks would be possible.
Richard Warder will no longer be coming to the Worcestershire AAmeetings as he is resigning from Kidderminster and Stourport AC and will no longer be representing Sportshall.

5. CORRESPONDANCE

6.TREASURERS REPORT
As we would expect for this time of the year there has not been much activity on our account. The main point is that we have now received the full £500 payment from England Athletic towards improving the Track and Field Championships so that our overall balance has recovered.
7.OFFICERS REPORTS
Lucy Cambridge……. Fell Running
Tried to get a team to take part in the Inter-counties fell race championships in Wales but there were a lot of other events that weekend so maybe next year the response will be better.
The Shropshire series of fell races starts soon and flyers will be put out to advertise this Hopefully this may encourage a few to have a go.
Ann Perry………. Race Walking
There was an inter area match but not many from Worcstershire competed.
Rita Brownlee……Ladies Team Manager
Need to order some ladies/girls vests.
Is there going to be a Mens/boys team manager as we need someone as soon as possible.
Ian Clarke will contact Keith Perry to see if he is interested in doing this.
Rita will enter a team for the C.A.U meeting but needs to know who has entered the EA event {see notes from last minutes} this was proving a little difficult but 6 women and 6men have been entered which is better than last year.

The cross country championships will be at Leamington in 2017 if we are to have a joint meeting. These will be on the 7th January 2017
Graham Heeley has emailed to ask for a list of officials by October.
There is an officials course on the 24th September.
Ian Clarke…… Road Race Secretary
County Championships have all been held this year there were a few problems with the results but all the medals have now been awarded.
Some athletes ticked the box to enter the championships when they had already run for another county this year.
Venues for next years’ half marathon are needed maybe Worcester marathon at the end of May.
Need to find races that are measured, easy to enter, not too expensive, and can give out results.
8.2017 XC CHAMPIONSHIPS……7th January 2016
Hopefully this will be a joint event at Leamington
Ian McGregor is still willing to do the entries
Need someone to work with Maurice
When the entry form is sent out it needs to state the rule about selection for the county. That it is the athlete’sresponsibility to contact their Team Manager about their selection
Numbers will be collected on the day.
9.C.A.U Track and Field Championships
Have a team for this 6men and 6women

Need nominations for the FOUNDERS AWARD
These need to be received for the September meeting so they can be discussed then.
