Dear WMCHS BOYS LAX Parent,

The winter indoor season is quickly passing by and the warmer days that bring with them the excitement of the Spring 2014Lacrosse season are rapidly approaching. Our official WMCHS practice starts on Friday March 7th. This year we have (3) pre-season scrimmages scheduled starting Saturday March 18th vs. Mt. Olive. Our regular season starts on SaturdayMarch 29th against Wayne Valley!! We need your continued support to help the boys to another successful season in 2014!

The Parents Lacrosse Club has been meeting once a month since September supporting our boys, coaches and school. Our meeting schedule for the rest of the year is: February 11th, March11th, April 8th and May13th and they are always open to all interested. We would love to have additional parents involved, as your input is valued and needed. Your advisory committee and class representatives are:

The WMCHS Parents club provides support for the boys by coordinating a significant number of events throughout the year. To get a better idea of the types of events we sponsor, please review the attached committee and activity list. To support these events, dues for the 2014 lacrosse year have been set at $200 per player. These dues help defray the costs foritems such as Capitan’spractices at Sports Galaxy and Team practices at Indoor Sports Pavilion, coaches & player apparel, year-end player awards & gifts as examples. They also cover the following key items:

Family entrance to our “Face-Off Dinner” scheduled for Wednesday March 26th

Family entrance to our “End of Year” awards picnic

Capitan practices at Sports Galaxy in Hackettstown and Team Practices at Indoor Sports Pavilion

Player participation in pizza parties, bagel breakfast and pasta parties

Team Vehicle Magnets

Team UnderArmour Shooting Shirts

Individual Player and Team Pictures

Contribution to the Coaches Fund used to fund additional coach, apparel and gifts

  • Please Note: The annual dues are per family, multi-player families pay an additional $50 per player to cover the incremental costs of shirts and pictures

Please send your check made payable to “WMCPLC” by March 15th to the PO Box listed at the top of this page. Dues not received prior to the Face-Off Dinner will be collected at the door.

We are in the process of preparing for our traditional Face-Off Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, March 26th, 2014. Senior Parents will be coordinating the Face Dinner this year so we want to thank everyone in advance for their significant contribution. The Face-Off Dinner is always a well-attended event and is a wonderful way to kick-off the lacrosse season. We can always use additional volunteers so please contact Amy Evans( -phone908-229-9405) or Joanne Isenburg ( – phone 908-803-5459) if you’re interested in helping.

Capitan’s Practices will be offered again this year at the Sports Galaxy in Hackettstown, please see attached flyers for dates and times. This event gives the underclassmen an opportunity to get to know our team leaders. Please try to take advantage of it as this is a great opportunity for the boys to get to know each other and to start to get back in Lacrosse-Mode. Each player that participates will receive UnderArmour Team Shooting shirt. These UA shirts were very popular in 2013 and became a game day uniform staple!

Enclosed, you will also find this year’s advertising form for the Club’s booster program. This is the Club’s primary fund raising activity, and we would appreciate everyone’s involvement. If you have a business, or know someone who would like to place an ad or booster, please complete the form and return it to the Club PO Box by February 28th. Booster Ads from parents and relatives are welcomed and encouraged. We are looking for everyone to support at least one advertisement in 2014 which can either be a Family advertisement supporting your son or team or a Business advertisement supporting overall team.

Thank you for your support. It is greatly appreciated by the Club, Coaches and most importantly the Boys (our team)!

Go Wolfpack!
