What Is Archery Backstop Netting? in Short, It Is a Way to Retrieve Your Arrows with Ease

What is archery backstop netting? In short, it is a way to retrieve your arrows with ease every time that you shoot. This type of net simply hangs in back of your target making it easier to grab those arrows that go astray. Usually, these nets are bound around the bottom, so that arrows cannot slip underneath. Due to the fact that they are made with tightly knitted mesh, arrows cannot pierce the holes of the net.

The backstop nets are made of nylon. They are a standard archery net. They are hung from the top, and should be hung loosely – ie allow 1 ½ times x the width of area you need to cover, then they will stop a 60lb bow at 20 yards.

This type of net is entirely useful when you are practicing or shooting a tournament. You set up the net behind the target close or farther away from it makes no difference. These nets are highly useful and can save wear and tear on your arrows, and save you that trip up and down the range to pick up those stray arrows.

You must practice in order to increase their skill level. By placing a net behind the target to pick up those fallen arrows, you increase your shooting time by spending less time fielding for your arrows.
