WELCOME TO KRASNENSKIY DISTRICT – BEAUTIFUL AND HOSPITABLE LAND!
Village Krasnoe was found in 1659. There lived military people and peasants. Krasnenskiy district was formed in 1991. Now it is a modern, developed and clean district. It contains 15 big and small villages. It is a wonderful place to live! Krasnenskiy district is rich in historical, cultural, sport and natural sightseeings.During the Great Patriotic War there were hard battles on the territory of the district. There are some memorials, which reminds us about our great victory. Some of them are communal grave of dead warriors in Krasnoe.

Memorial near village Krugloe. / Krasnenskiy district also is rich in sanctities. There are many beautiful churches, old and new ones. In the centre of Krasnoe you can observe new wonderful church. It is the Church of St. Ilya.
Firstly it was built in 1774, people came here to pray, but during the Great Patriotic War it was converted into a hospital, then become a recreation centre. In 1991 it became the church again. Among variety of churches there is one in village StaroeUkolovo.
It was a wooden temple, built in 1650. In 1809 it was restored.
In village Setische we can see a new wonderful church. It was rebuild a year ago after terrible fire.
Krasnoe is a village of high culture. There is a recreation centre. People of all ages can realise their talents. We have a folk music ensemble “Krasnyanochka” and band “Dontsy”. Their concert programmes are bright and colourful show.
The inhabitants of Krasnenskiy district are very sporty people. Especially for their needs in 2012 the new, modern and well-equipped Sport Centre was opened.
One of the sightseengs of Krasnenskiy district is its forest. The beauty of the district unfolds when you see it. It provides peace and solitude while you are going through the forest. It is rich in different plants and animals. Some of the plants are very rare in the nature, for example a little yellow tulip
andscillasibirica. When you go through the forest in April, you can see the ground covered with fantastic blue flowers, it is like a mysterious carpet. /
Krasnenskiy district is economically developed one. There are several poultry farms, which provide people with work and fresh production.
Come and see Krasnenskiy district! It is worth visiting!
