Achieve North West Connect (ANWC) are a newly formed company contracted to deliver the CFO3 programme across the region.

CFO3 is co-financed by the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) and the European Social Fund (ESF) to support social inclusion through improving the employability prospects of disadvantaged ex-offenders.

This programme will run from 1st July 2015 to 31st December 2020.

ANWC brings together expertise from

a dedicated team formed by Probation Service staff who have a wealth of experience in delivering specialist offender ETE services in both custodial and community settings.

Our award winning team have successfully delivered NOMS CFO programmes in the North West since 2010. We have long standing partnerships with a range of agencies both inside the criminal justice system and in the wider community.

CFO3

CFO3 is a NOMS ESF programme designed to support social inclusion through improving employability prospects of disadvantaged ex-offenders.

Who can benefit?

From the offender population, Achieve North West Connect target those with an ETE need in addition to at least 2 other complex pathway needs e.g. substance misuse, accommodation, mental and physical health.

The programme is specifically targeted at offenders who fall outside the support available through mainstream offers from the DWP or SFA provision

Resident in the UK with permission to work in the UK

Unemployed

Over 16 years of age

Serving a custodial sentence (with up to 3 years left to serve); be on remand (women offenders only)

Completing a post custody licence / supervision period or serving a community order

Achieve North West Connect work collaboratively with specialist partnership agencies to provide intensive support and mentoring for participants along their journey to employment. This could include:

All your client needs is the motivation and willingness to work with us through this journey to achieve their ETE goals and move on with their lives. If they have the right attitude, we will help with the rest!

ANWC Case Managers will meet with participants approximately 6 months prior to their release date. They will continue to provide participants with the intensive support they will need following release across the North West. Case Managers will arrange to meet participants at one of our community based locations in their home area.
