• Post qualification award or higher degree

• Leadership of an Action Research project

• Experience of co-educational, comprehensive education
• Proven record of raising achievement in Middle leadership across the 11-18 age range.
• Excellent classroom practitioner, (for example: judged outstanding by Ofsted)
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of current educational issues, research and priorities including 11-18 curriculum
• Excellent track record as an effective innovator
• Experience of raising standards in Teaching and Learning
• Fully conversant with safeguarding issues
• Experience in developing innovative strategies for teaching the mastery of key skills and knowledge which have significant, measurable impact
• Proven impact of developing independent, resilient learners in across age ranges and abilities

• Experience in creating a Research Library on leadership, pedagogy and practice

• Experience of developing partnerships which create unique opportunities for students

• Outstanding leadership skills; able to deploy a range of leadership style in different situations
• Leadership of an aspect of whole school improvement which transform students’ life chances
• Experience of creating a climate in which teachers are motivated and trusted to take risks and innovate in ways that are right for their students
