As part of an effort to support youth participation in decision-making processes, Taking It Global, (TIG) provides temporary accreditation to COP 17meetings and conferences for youth who are part of TIG or GYAN organizations members (list found at:

In participating in any United Nations (UN) event by means of the Taking It Global (TIG) accreditation, I agree not to claim to represent TIG or to speak on behalf of TIG or its member organizations. Having been informed of the activities, goals, and status of the Taking It Global (TIG) TIG is hereby not responsible for any action or statement I make at the conference.

I understand that as a means to facilitate greater youth participation in global decision-making processes, TIG provides, in good faith, temporary accreditation to young people and youth organizations.

My age is between 15 to 30 years old.

I have read all the criteria and I fulfill the requirements and all information I provided in application form is true / accurate

I commit to posting at least three blog entries on the TIG Project page blog about my experiences at the COP 17 , one after, during and before the conference ends.

I will participate in any related side-events or meetings organized by TIG.

I understand that TIG is not responsible for funding, visa requirements or other requirements related to gaining access to the COP17

I, as an individual, assume all risks and hazards incidental to the activities, and release from responsibility and hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless TIG, its officers, directors, volunteers and all employees for any illness or injury to me occurring during my/our participation in any conference activity under the accreditation of TIG
