- Working with three different language agencies in the Tacoma, WA area.

- Duties include scheduling and some case management and advocacy.

St. Joseph Medical Center - June 2007- Present

- Working as Medical Interpreter in the Family Birth Center.

- Responsible for discharge teaching, interpreting for nurses, doctors, and lactation consultants.

- Assist patients in setting appointments, getting other needs met during their stay.

- Also called to other departments in the hospital, and have experience in many medical specialties.

- Processed patient referrals to see specialty doctors, including negotiating best deals for patients, arranging transportation, handling all paperwork.
