The VMA Education Program works to inspire young people to seek and prepare forcareers in Advanced Manufacturing, improve the public's image of manufacturing and influence schools to embrace informing students of the lucrative career opportunities in manufacturing. The VMA holds the Annual Lou Fifer Education Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise money to support the manufacturing related training and education programs and to provide scholarships. It is the intent of the VMA Grant to provide seed money for manufacturing-related program equipment and limited consumables may be provided in the initial request. The school must be able to sustain consumables in the future.

Grant Requests are accepted on September 1 and February 1 of each year. Academies, schools and colleges can apply for funds by completing this form and returning to the VMA office at . Call 386.673.0505 for additional information.

The Education Committee will evaluate the request within a month of submission. VMA will be interested in how your project develops and how it relates to manufacturing.
