The Vermont Horse Shows Association (VHSA) promotes, encourages and assists in the holding of horse shows and exhibitions of horses within the state of Vermont.

Members that attend VHSA affiliated shows accumulate points during the calendar year based on their competition results at the shows, and the high-point champions are recognized at the year-end awards banquet. VHSA also has a youth achievement award program open to all VHSA youth members. This program is to encourage our young riders to participate in any area of the equine sport – volunteering/community service, rescue, charity, equestrian education, and equine recognized clubs. The youth with the highest accumulated points throughout that particular season is recognized and awarded at the Year-EndAward Banquet.

VHSA is seeking sponsors for its 2014 show season. VHSA is currently 103 members strong and growing in membership every year. All members receive an Omnibus and six newsletters per year – that’s putting your name out there to just members the equivalent of 721 times! Add to that the year-end awards banquet program advertisement to approximately 70 attendees; the VHSA affiliated shows - around 10 per year with an average of 75-80 exhibitors per show AND their family who come to watch; and the hundreds of horse owners and equine enthusiasts who attend trade shows like Everything Equine each year!
