Opportunity Description:

ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES SELECTION PROCESS FOR BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE
Alberta Infrastructure, in consultation with representatives from the Consulting Engineers of Alberta (CEA) and Alberta Association of Architects (AAA), has developed a selection process for architectural and engineering consulting services for Alberta Infrastructure owned building projects, which is compliant with the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) and which demonstrates a fair, open and transparent treatment of consultants.
A vendor registry (VRAES) was developed to support the selection process. VRAES is an electronic inventory of self-registered A&E consulting firms. Alberta Infrastructure will use the registration information and expression of interest provided by firms to short-list firms for specific project opportunities.
Firms wishing to be considered to provide prime consulting services for Alberta Infrastructure owned Infrastructure building projects with an estimated consultant fee from $75,000 to $1,000,000 must register in the VRAES in order to express interest on project opportunity notices, which will be posted in the VRAES and the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC). Firms registered in VRAES will also be considered for opportunities under $75,000.
