Assessment Aim

This assessment is designed to assess the level of knowledge of those applicants nominated as a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) / Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Maintenance Controller.

Method Of Assessment
Oral assessment question and answers
Practical demonstration of understanding with reference to operations/flight and maintenance manuals. / *Verbal questions andanswers
*Demonstration of interpersonal skillsand techniques in managing and monitoring compliance with workplaceprocedures
Level of competency required / An applicant is required to answer all the questions. At the end of the assessment the FDS Inspector is to revise any questions, which were not answered correctly and discuss with the applicant.
Note competency is not relative to time the importance here is the demonstration of acquired knowledge and understanding.
Specific Resources Required / Assessor must ensure access to appropriate regulatory guidelines and documentation including operations/flight and Maintenance manuals, specifically manuals (OM/FM/MM) CASR Regulation 101.
Guidance Information / A holistic approach to assessment is required demonstration of underpinning and acquired knowledge to support competency.
