Job title / Digital Interactions Developer (E-health)

Job purpose / To support the design, build and review of digital treatment and support sessions (My Turning Point & Rightsteps Anytime). Particular focus on ensuring smooth flow of content and data within a programme/platform, creating interactions using front-end web development skills.
To support the technical interface with My Turning Point and Rightsteps Anytime with multiple platforms and systems. To support the development, testing and ongoing management of these platforms.
Dimensions / Ensure knowledge and technical skills are up to date /
  • Along with strong technical skills, a post holder must have strong written and oral communication skills, and exceptional time management. They must be able to troubleshoot issues quickly, and stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies, standards, and trends.
  • To link closely with Turning Point’s IMT team to ensure technical skills are appraised and share learning

Bring Turning Point’s digital content to life /
  • Through the use of front end web development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and e-learning software, the post holderwill build interactions that bring digital health interventions to life. Continued testing, maintenance, and updates are handled by the developer.
  • The Digital Interactions Developer will work closely with the Digital Product Development Team to understand Operational requirements to help design and build the solution. They will support the testing process and then the release/review process, working across all elements of the development cycle.
  • The Digital Interactions Developer will need to have strong IT technical skills to enable the data to flow through the systems we use effectively and as intended using APIs etc
  • Create seamless user journeys but building an understanding and skill-based in the use of Turning Point’s other digital tools.

  • To be comfortable working in large Project or Programme approaches with multiple stakeholders and team members
  • To be familiar and comfortable working in short sprint cycles with fewer people to complete a specific task or objective
  • To utilise Subject Matter Experts within Turning Point in building or reviewing content and systems
  • To actively bring down internal barriers to cross-team/department working and adopt a collaborative approach

Communication /
  • Engage with service staff, managers, frontline staff, central department staff and senior managers effectively using a range of communication mediums
  • Be respectful and professional in communications
