Regulations & Code of Conduct

Article 1

Every member is expected to conduct himself/herself in a self-disciplined manner, and in a positive, cooperative, and mature way.

Article 2

All members, while on-duty/training, shall devote their entire time and attention to the service of the Unit, and perform duties as ordered by their Commander or Training Officers.

Article 4

Members shall not engage in activities that are detrimental to himself/herself or the Unit. The ruling on this article will be administered on a case-by-case basis.

Article 5

Members shall not be under the influence of alcoholic beverages, drugs, or substances which impair physical and/or mental capabilities while on duty/training.

Article 6

All members reporting for duty/training that are taking any prescribed medication or over the counter medication for any condition will report to the duty medic for evaluation of fitness to participate. The medic answers to the company commander in all matters and the company commander will uphold the evaluation of his medic.

Article 7

Members shall use their training and capabilities to protect the public at all times, both on and off duty/training.

Article 8

Members shall report on time for duty/training. On time for duty/training includes being ready to begin with an immediate response.

Article 9

Members shall be held personally responsible for all Unit or personal property issued/borrowed to them. Any property, which may be lost or damaged through abuse, carelessness, or neglect, may be replaced at the expense of the member to whom issued.

Article 10

No advertising matter, posters, propaganda, or other disfigurements shall be posted at training or TRM FB page without Command approval

Article 11

No member shall remove, damage, or tamper with another member’s personal property or the property of the training premises.

Article 12

When any member is temporarily assigned to a fill-in position, he/she shall exercise the full authority and responsibility of that position.

Article 13

All members will keep the official business of The Texas Republic Militia Freedom Company confidential. They shall not impart or discuss with anyone any matters concerning it or its members, except to officersof The Texas Republic Militia Freedom Company.

Article 14

No member shall make any purchase or incur any liability in the name ofThe Texas Republic Militia Freedom Company

Article 15

No member shall display discriminatory or abusive behavior pertaining to politics, sex, religion, age, and/or diversity while on duty/training.

Article 16

All members shall insure the cleanliness of their areas daily.

Article 18

All members are to communicate activities, suggestions, problems,safety issues, and status of their fire teams or squads, and report these items up the chain of command.

Article 19

All members shall keep themselves physically fit to the best of their ability and will participate in a physical fitness evaluation if command deems necessary.

Article 20

Members will not knowingly falsify anyTexas Republic Militia Freedom Company record.

Article 21

There will be a no tolerance policy on insubordination. If a member displays any form of disrespect towards command, a fellow unit member or civilian while in uniform, he risks immediate expulsion from the unit. A decision will be made to excuse this member without prejudice and allow reinstatement of training only if a member in good standing sponsors the violating member. A second occurrence will be cause for immediate and permanent expulsion.

Code of Conduct

1. I am an AmericanTexan, fighting in the forces which guard our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense. 2. I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender the members of my command while they still have the means to resist. 3. If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy. 4. If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action, which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me and will back them up in every way. 5. When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I will only give name, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements. 6. I will never forget that I am an American & Texan, fighting for freedom, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made us free. I will trust in my God, the State of Texas, and in the United States of America.

All Soldiers are Warriors - prepared, trained, and fully equipped for resolving conflict and restoring the peace.

Soldiers personify Warrior Ethos as part of a team, bound to each other by integrity and trust.

Warriors put the mission first, refuse to accept defeat, never quit, and never leave behind a fallen comrade. They are trained and equipped to engage and destroy the enemies of Texas. They have absolute faith in themselves and their team.

Redress of Grievances
For redress of grievances an open-door policy shall be held by all enlisted and commissioned members. Please address your issues with your immediate chain of command.

Lawful orders within the jurisdiction of command shall be carried out upon receipt without immediate recourse provided they do not present a danger to the life, limb, or property of law abiding individuals.

Any orders found to be in violation of established policy shall be immediately rescinded or corrected by the appropriate level of command. Violation of guidelines is punishable by corrective action to include immediate dismissal from service.
