The recipient of this scholarship must meet the following criteria:

Is enrolled as a full-time post-secondary student during the 2016-2017school years in a program at any South Dakota technical institute OR in one of the following fields at any South Dakota university: Health, Business, Trade and Industry, Marketing, Agricultural Education, and Family Consumer Science Education.
Has taken a minimum of two Career and Technical Education courses.
Is active in career and technical student organizations.
Is a graduate from high school in theyear of 2016or before that year.
Has achieved at least a 3.0 GPA.

Recipients of the scholarship will be notified no later than July 1, 2016. Recipients are asked to attend the SDACTE Awards banquet the evening of Monday, August 1st, 2016in Sioux Fallsto receive the scholarship.
