A more detailed breakdown of the Year 2 and 6 attainment can be found on the school website

Commentary Summary:

  • We are very pleased with our EYFS, Phonics and Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar results
  • One Y6 pupil missing ‘expected’ by one mark in the Reading and Maths test was the difference between being ‘below’ and ‘within’ national expectation in Reading, Maths and Combined.
  • Progress between Year 2 and Year 6 is lower than pupils nationally
  • Attainment and progress outcomes for the children requires improvement through good teaching and learning, so we can build on the good start pupils have at the school.

The Governors and I are meeting this Wednesday to finalise the School Development Plan & agree an Executive Summary that will outline the priorities & further actions for the year ahead. The Executive Summary will be shared with all parents this week.

Outlined on the following couple of pages are some of the other things I informed parents about. If you would like to discuss any of the items covered in this newsletter please do not hesitate to contact the office to organise a meeting with me.
