Boys U12 and U11’s Plans For Next Season
We have really good news here and we can confirm that we will have coaches in place for next years U11’s (Thanks to Jon Cooke and Craig Arditto who are stepping up from the U9’s)
Good news too for boys moving to the U12’s as we now have a qualified coach in place to take the boys in to our combined village team Nidd United. The coach will need help with the admin side of running the team, setting up goals, running the line etc, please give him your support and look out for joint training sessions for our current U11’s looking to move up to U12’s.

Holiday Football Course with the Scorchers and THE FA SKILLS TEAM!!!
A Holiday Course is in place at Percy Fields for a full day of coaching (10:00 till 15:00) exclusively for the players at Scotton Scorchers. The West Riding F.A Skills Team will provide this on Monday 11th April. In terms of payment, the charge is only £5 per player for the full day and can deliver to a maximum of 32 players. Pavilion Update
Behind the scenes there has been a great deal of work taking place to get us ready for the next phase of the pavilion. Simply put, we need to pull together to raise as much as we can as quickly as we can to get the job done! How much? The official target is £15,000, so now is the time step up and help get the Pavilion ready to be opened. There will be a special newsletter dedicated to just the Pavilion and the plans we have in place, look out for the note and get ready to help us get this fantastic facility open.

/ New last SEASON and one of the best things (apart from the food) is that the restaurant on the High Street is already coloured-matched to the Scorchers – fitted out in red and black. However the very best thing is the food. The owner, Owner Tufail Miah previously ran another restaurant in Knaresborough, but Zolsha’s is everything a modern Indian Restaurant should be. Ever since the opening of Zolsha, It has gained a huge reputation for its high quality cuisine, vibrant atmosphere and first class service and even old customers from his previous restaurant are now regulars to this one.
